Please click here to read the following COVID guidance as new measures are in place to keep everyone safe.
Our course dates are published on our website. Weekly lessons run for 9-15 consecutive weeks, depending on the school term dates. Intensive lessons (‘crash courses’) run over 4 or 5 consecutive days.
Booking on to lessons is required through the online portal, bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received. You will receive a confirmation via email confirming your booking. All course fees are non-refundable.
By booking, or attending a swimming lesson with us, you accept these terms and conditions and they will form a binding contract between you and P&GSS LTD. You will ensure that you follow the general swimming pool rules set out within these terms and conditions and any rules that are specific to a particular pool.
We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time; changes will be made directly to the website.
All lessons must be paid for in advance and in full, payment secures your place for the term. If a swimmer joins part way through a course, a pro rata payment, relative to the remaining lessons, will be due. All course fees are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable.
P&GSS LTD accept:
Card payments through the online portal
Cash payments will be accepted for renewals, these payments must be given to the Supervisor only.
Payment deadlines will be communicated but are typically half a term in advance for weekly bookings and provided payments are received by the payment deadline, the space will be held to allow current swimmers to rebook. In the event the payment deadline is missed, the space will be released as the system will assume lessons are no longer required and will automatically be available to be booked by another swimmer. Intensive courses are bookable and spaces are allocated based on when payments are received.
P&GSS LTD reserve the right to change your existing class time due to reasons beyond our control.
It does sometimes take new swimmers a few lessons to settle into the programme. If after 4 lessons, P&GSS LTD feel that it is in the swimmer’s interests to terminate the course at the current time, the remainder of the course fee will be refunded, minus an administration fee.
P&GSS LTD Limited reserves the right to change dates if necessary. All course fees are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable.
P&GSS LTD is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed lessons. Unfortunately, what seems like one simple request is an impractically huge administrative task when spread across hundreds of clients. We strongly recommend you ensure you are able to make the lessons before booking the course, refunds will not be offered.
In the unfortunate event that Northwood College or Watford Girls must cancel a lesson, P&GSS LTD endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. Classes may be cancelled at short notice if the pool is not fit for teaching purposes.
P&GSS LTD will endeavour to add an alternative date, if P&GSS LTD offer an alternative date the lessons will not be eligible for a refund or credit or to be transferred. If you are unable to make the alternative date, the lessons will not be refunded, credited or transferred.
If P&GSS LTD have been unable to provide an alternative date we will offer credit notes in lieu of payment for the next term or a refund.
No refunds will be offered in the case of circumstances outside of our control Force Majeure such as adverse weather conditions, power interruption, pandemics, acts of God as deemed to be contractually outside of our control.
P&GSS LTD sessions and teachers are contracted for the term in advance. We are therefore unable to refund any monies for sessions missed because of general illness to either parent/guardian or child, broken limbs, holidays confirmed prior to or taken during the term or for missed sessions because of late arrival or non-attendance.
If there is insufficient support for a course, we reserve the right to cancel, suspend or postpone a course before the first lesson. We will give you as much notice as possible and we will refund your payment in full if no suitable alternative can be provided. Any liability will be limited to the course payment only.
